Esther is an Associate Advocate at the Firm with a versatile practice spanning data protection, immigration, regulatory compliance, banking and securities, conveyancing, and succession law.

Since joining the Firm as a Trainee Advocate in 2022, Esther has become a trusted legal advisor to both local and international clients, offering strategic and practical support across a wide range of matters. She leads the Firm’s data protection practice as the designated Data Protection Officer, where she advises on compliance with Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, and global data privacy standards. Her work includes guiding clients through data processing obligations, breach response protocols, cross-border data transfers, and internal policy development.

Esther also plays a key role in the Firm’s immigration practice, providing end-to-end support for work permits, special passes, dependent passes, and citizenship applications ensuring clients remain compliant with Kenya’s evolving immigration laws.

In the banking and securities space, Esther assists clients in securing financing from different Financiers. She advises on the legal aspects of loan facilities, preparation of security documents, and ensures that transactions are compliant and properly documented.

Her regulatory compliance experience includes advising clients on licensing, statutory obligations, and sector-specific compliance frameworks. Additionally, she handles conveyancing and succession matters, including property transfers, estate planning, and administration.
