Gabriel Karanja Njenga
GABRIEL is a senior Partner having also founded the firm in 1993. He has represented individual and corporate clients in litigation matters for over twenty five years. Owing to his experience, he has had the privilege of advising multinational institutions as well as statutory industry regulators on legal compliance. He oversees the Firm’s legal matters, harnessing his command of legal principles to ensure quality of services rendered to clients.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Sheffield University, Sheffield United Kingdom, as well as a post graduate Diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law. He was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1993, holds a Specialized Honours Degree in Arts (BA)(Hons)(Political Science) from York University, Toronto Canada and is a Certified Public Secretary.
As a political scientist, he has a keen eye for developmental issues in developing countries ranging from poverty eradication, agriculture, education, food security, shelter and IT.
Gabriel is well versed with the legal regime on unclaimed assets and serves as a Board Member of the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA), chairing the Board’s Technical and Investment Committee. He is passionate about mentoring and empowering lawyers to explore the business side of the profession.

Peris Wangari Karanja
Peris is the Managing Partner, having joined the firm in 2002. She is well versed in commercial & corporate Law, Conveyancing, Financial Securities and Litigation. She had previously served as a senior attorney at The Kenya Anti-Corruption Authority and as a legal counsel in a public benefit institution focusing on human rights prior to joining the Firm.
As the Managing Partner, she plans, oversees and implements the Firm’s overall growth strategy. She also ensures that professional, and industry standards are maintained in the performance of all the Team’s obligations to its clients and other stakeholders.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) (Hons) from the University of Nairobi (1990), a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law, and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1991. In addition She has a Diploma in Human Rights from the Raoul Wallenberg Institute, (Lund Sweden). Peris is a Certified Public Secretary and a Certified Professional Mediator.
Peris is a member of various professional bodies. She has continuously embarked on various community based social projects. She has a keen interest on women empowerment.

Ruth Mwangi Macharia
RUTH MWANGI-MACHARIA is a Senior Associate Advocate in the Firm’s Commercial & Conveyancing Department. Prior to joining the firm, she had worked for two of the country’s top-tier law firms, and in her most recent assignment; worked as a senior prosecutor under the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
She is proficient in property acquisition, financial securities and Commercial & Corporate transactions.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) (Hons) from the University of Nairobi, (2006) as well as a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law (2007), she was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2008. Ruth is an Associate in the Firm. She is also a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public.

Ruth Mwangi MachariaSenior Associate
Roselyne is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Certified Secretary, a Certified Public Accountant, an Accredited Mediator and an Accredited Governance Auditor. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Tax Consultant offering a wide array of tax consultancy services. She has equally served as a Company Secretary in a reputable firm of Certified Secretaries.
Owing to her expertise in Corporate Law, she was involved in carrying out a review of the Company Law Study Text published by BR Professionals to align the study text with the 2015 Companies Act. Roselyne has also taught in various colleges within Nairobi County specializing in Financial Markets Law.
With the advantage of being a multi-skilled professional, Roselyne’s versatility enables clients to enjoy the benefit of comprehensive consultancy services.

Danson Mugo Maina
Danson is an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation & Debt Management Department. A versatile Advocate, Danson specializes in Civil and Commercial Litigation, Constitutional Law, Employment & Labour Relations and Succession.
He has successfully represented individual and corporate clients in a wide variety of complex Litigation matters in the High Court, Court of Appeal and specialized Tribunals.
Danson has previously worked as an Advocate at Sisule Munyi Kilonzo & Associates and KN Law LLP. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) (Hons) from Moi University as well as a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

Danson Mugo MainaAssociate
Ian is an Associate Advocate at the Firm. He graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Laws degree and recently from the Kenya School of Law with a post graduate Diploma in Law.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2018, he served as a Legal Assistant with a leading Information Technology service provider. His area of specialty is in Conveyancing, Financial Securities, and Corporate & Commercial Law practice.
Under Conveyancing he has advised and even trained individual and institutional clients on the acquisition, securitization, tenanting & leasing of property. Under the field of Corporate and Commercial law, he has represented clients in connection with the structuring, registration & statutory compliance requirements of business entities, as well as with regard to any alterations in ownership and control thereof.
