Gabriel Karanja Njenga

GABRIEL is a senior Partner having also founded the firm in 1993. He has represented individual and corporate clients in litigation matters for over twenty five years. Owing to his experience, he has had the privilege of advising multinational institutions as well as statutory industry regulators on legal compliance. He oversees the Firm’s legal matters, harnessing his command of legal principles to ensure quality of services rendered to clients.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Sheffield University, Sheffield United Kingdom, as well as a post graduate Diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law. He was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1993, holds a Specialized Honours Degree in Arts (BA)(Hons)(Political Science) from York University, Toronto Canada and is a Certified Public Secretary.
As a political scientist, he has a keen eye for developmental issues in developing countries ranging from poverty eradication, agriculture, education, food security, shelter and IT.
Gabriel is well versed with the legal regime on unclaimed assets and serves as a Board Member of the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA), chairing the Board’s Technical and Investment Committee. He is passionate about mentoring and empowering lawyers to explore the business side of the profession.

Peris Wangari Karanja

Peris is the Managing Partner, having joined the firm in 2002. She is well versed in commercial & corporate Law, Conveyancing, Financial Securities and Litigation. She had previously served as a senior attorney at The Kenya Anti-Corruption Authority and as a legal counsel in a public benefit institution focusing on human rights prior to joining the Firm.
As the Managing Partner, she plans, oversees and implements the Firm’s overall growth strategy. She also ensures that professional, and industry standards are maintained in the performance of all the Team’s obligations to its clients and other stakeholders.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) (Hons) from the University of Nairobi (1990), a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law, and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1991. In addition She has a Diploma in Human Rights from the Raoul Wallenberg Institute, (Lund Sweden). Peris is a Certified Public Secretary and a Certified Professional Mediator.
Peris is a member of various professional bodies. She has continuously embarked on various community based social projects. She has a keen interest on women empowerment.

Ann Makena Muriithi

Ann Makena Muriithi is an Associate Advocate in the Firm’s Commercial and Conveyancing department.
Prior to joining the firm, she was an Advocate Trainee and thereafter an Associate at the firm of Kinyanjui Njuguna & Co. Advocates where she worked in the Conveyancing and Commercial Department
She is proficient in the fields of Conveyancing Practice, Financial Securities, Commercial and Corporate transactions and has advised clients both individual and corporate on commercial and residential leases and licenses, as well as security documentation and on matters of acquisition of property.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) (Hons) from the University of Nairobi, a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law and a diploma in Professional French from Alliance Française. She is also a Commissioner for Oaths.

Ian Odongoh

Ian is an Associate Advocate at the Firm. He graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Laws degree and recently from the Kenya School of Law with a post graduate Diploma in Law.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2018, he served as a Legal Assistant with a leading Information Technology service provider. His area of specialty is in Conveyancing, Financial Securities, and Corporate & Commercial Law practice.
Under Conveyancing he has advised and even trained individual and institutional clients on the acquisition, securitization, tenanting & leasing of property. Under the field of Corporate and Commercial law, he has represented clients in connection with the structuring, registration & statutory compliance requirements of business entities, as well as with regard to any alterations in ownership and control thereof.

Ian Ndaiga Gacheru

Ian Ndaiga Gacheru is an Associate Advocate in the Firm’s Litigation & Debt Recovery department.
Prior to joining the firm, he was an Associate at the firm of S.M Kilonzo & Co. Advocates where he worked in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.
He is a versatile advocate having successfully represented individual and corporate clients in a wide variety of complex commercial, civil and constitutional disputes in various courts and specialized tribunals.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) (Hons) from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
